Inspired by the enduring appeal of classic tweed, Cairo is hand woven from undyed wool to create a casual basket weave with dappled color. The wool’s organic texture and natural variation is balanced by art silk’s smooth feel and finish. A development on our bestselling Cairo range, features a tighter cross weave with added cotton cloth backing for durability. Crafted from a marled wool blend, the warm pebble tones and dense underfoot texture makes this an all-rounder for a range of interior styles.
Made of wool in varying shades of cream,beiges and greys, our basket weave Rug has a subtle tonal effect that was common in mid-century inspired textiles.
